Hi, I’m Lauren – welcome to my blog! Here I will reflect on global environmental issues and share my opinions and ways to promote conservation.  I am an experienced diver with seven PADI certifications, including coral reef conservation.  I have done research on the effects of climate change on plankton abundance in Long Island Sound and spent time doing turtle conservation in Costa Rica.  I am also a co-founder of Green Greenwich, a 501c3 founded to help reduce the carbon footprint and energy consumption in CT.
